The truths we hold and the foundation on which we stand.
This is not a legal document. It is a declaration — a statement of the truths that anchor everything we do at Light Club Ministries. We believe these things not because they are convenient, but because they are true. And we share them not to divide, but to clarify the foundation on which this ministry stands.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit, and it is without error in its original manuscripts. Scripture is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice — sufficient, clear, and trustworthy.
The Bible is not merely a collection of religious literature. It is the living Word of God, powerful to save, sanctify, and transform. We do not sit in judgment over Scripture; Scripture sits in judgment over us.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works."— 2 Timothy 3:16-17, KJV
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal, co-eternal, and one in essence — distinct in person, united in purpose. God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, sovereign over history, and worthy of all worship and praise.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."— 1 John 5:7, KJV
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became flesh and dwelt among us. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with divine authority. He is fully God and fully man — two natures united in one Person forever.
He was crucified for our sins, buried, and raised bodily on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes for His people. He will return in glory to judge the living and the dead.
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."— John 1:14, KJV
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, separated from God and deserving of His righteous judgment. But God, in His mercy, provided salvation through Jesus Christ. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — not by works, lest anyone should boast.
Those who repent of their sin and trust in Christ are justified before God, adopted into His family, and given eternal life. Salvation is a gift — received, not earned.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."— Ephesians 2:8-9, KJV
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates the hearts of those who believe, indwells every Christian, and empowers believers for godly living and service. He illuminates Scripture, produces spiritual fruit, and distributes spiritual gifts for the building up of the Church.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."— John 14:26, KJV
We believe that Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations. This commission is not optional — it is the mandate of every believer. We are called to proclaim the Gospel, baptize those who believe, and teach them to obey all that Christ commanded.
The Great Commission is the heartbeat of this ministry. Every Bible distributed, every devotional published, and every resource created serves this purpose: to make the Gospel known.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."— Matthew 28:19-20, KJV
We believe the Word of God is living and active — sharper than any two-edged sword. It has the power to pierce the heart, expose the thoughts and intentions of the soul, and bring about genuine transformation. The Scriptures are not merely informational; they are transformational.
When the Word of God is read, believed, and obeyed, lives change. This is why we do what we do. We believe that placing Scripture into willing hands is planting seeds that the Spirit of God will bring to harvest.
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."— Hebrews 4:12, KJV
The name "Light Club" comes from Matthew 5:14-16 — Jesus' declaration that His followers are the light of the world. We believe this light is not our own. It is the light of the Gospel, entrusted to us and meant to be shared.
We do not hide the light under a bushel. We place it on a stand, that it might give light to all who enter the house. This is the conviction that drives our ministry: that the light of Christ, carried in the pages of Scripture, can illumine every darkness.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."— Matthew 5:16, KJV
